Data Deletion
Effective: May 1, 2026
You can delete your StillOpen data at any time. This page applies to two groups:
- Business owners with a paid StillOpen account.
- Facebook users whose Messenger conversations were processed by a StillOpen-powered bot on a business owner's Page.
How to request deletion
Send an email to:
with the subject line: Delete my data
Please include in the email:
- Your name (and business name, if you are an account holder).
- The email address associated with your StillOpen account, OR
- The Facebook Page name and approximate date of the Messenger conversation, if you are an end user.
What gets deleted
For business owners
- Your account record (email, name, Clerk authentication data).
- Your knowledge base (business info, services, prices, hours, FAQs).
- All conversation logs from your website widget and connected Facebook Pages.
- Connected integration tokens (Google Calendar refresh tokens, Facebook Page Access Tokens). The Page is also automatically unsubscribed from StillOpen's webhook.
- Lead records and statistics.
Stripe payment records are retained by Stripe per their own retention rules and are needed for tax and chargeback purposes; StillOpen will request deletion from Stripe to the extent permitted.
For Facebook Messenger end users
- Any conversation logs containing your Page-Scoped ID (PSID) on the StillOpen-operated infrastructure.
- Any contact, address, or job-description information you shared with the bot.
Note: messages stored in your own Facebook Messenger inbox are controlled by Meta, not StillOpen. To delete those, use Facebook's own controls inside Messenger.
Timeline
Deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receipt. We will reply by email when the deletion is complete.
Self-service for business owners
You can also disconnect specific integrations at any time directly from your dashboard:
- Disconnect Google Calendar from
/app/dashboard.html→ Integrations → Google Calendar. - Disconnect Facebook Page from
/app/dashboard.html→ Integrations → Facebook Page.
Disconnecting an integration removes the corresponding token from our system within minutes. Full account deletion still requires the email request above.
